Optimum performance
The performance and useful life of standard EL lamps can be affected by several factors:  the ambient relative humidity, excessive exposure to sunlight, the presence of heat, the wrong power supply. Elcom has created lamps to meet demands for brightness and longevity, both for indoors and outdoors (the nautical sector, ...)

Low Voltage
Elcom manufactures low voltage lamps power 30V-40V, instead of the usual 110V, allowing the additional advantage of greater resistance to adverse enviromental conditions, increased stability and a longer shelf life. These lamps are ideal for specific applications in areas subject to regulatory restrictions governing public safety.

Mains- driven
Elcom also produces, on request, lamps  low frequency (50Hz-60Hz) for direct supply to the public bias (110V – 220V) thus eliminating the need to use a transformer or invrter. These lamps are very suitable for household or commercial applications.
